How It Works
Agent submits action
Every agent action routes through the OnLeash governance middleware before execution.
Kill switch state check
Before policy evaluation, the middleware checks if the org-wide or agent-specific kill switch is active.
Immediate rejection
If active, the action is rejected with a KILLED status. No policy evaluation. No execution. No exceptions.
Forensic snapshot
The kill event is logged with agent state, pending actions, trigger source, and timestamp. Chained into the audit log.
